| i like what closer said, and here i am offering a second interpretation to it as well. Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away --- basically i think this song is about regret...here trent is slipping away b/c he is regretting sooo many things in his life and is leading into deterioration Talking to myself all the way to the station --- he is regretting what he has done by talking to himself Pictures in my head of the final destination --- now he is wondering what will happen to him because of what he has done. i personally think closer is right, this is just what i saw and im just throwing it out there for any comments | |

"Talking to myself all the way to the station Pictures in my head of the final destination All lined up (All the one's that aren't allowed to stay) Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away" I think he is imagining Heaven, while he is waiting in the queue to be judged. He knows he will go to Hell, so he tries to reach Heaven, but he keeps slipping away. Well, I hope you understand. English is not my native language. | |

| I can't believe no one's had the interpretation that this could have been written a year in advance for the movie, or that perhaps the movie was based on the lyrics. "Pictures in my head of the final destination (vision of death) All lined up (specific order in death's design) All the one's that aren't allowed to stay (those that died in the beginning) Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away (The protagonist always dies anyway, no matter how hard they fight) | |

| TRevor is and idot, anyway The thing thats great about this band like is everyone can sit and debate over what the songs mean but Trent like ist very big on talking about what they mean so no one ever really Knows for sure, and with music being such a universal thing everyone can take it as they will but its a Great band and a GREAt song | |
