| To me this song is about a relationship (I can see how it could be about the how deal with the manager). It starts off with "This is the only lonely picture...this is the last true burning letter given to a girl written by a boy." The song is his "last letter" to the girl. I like the line "If I build you a city, would you let me? Would you tear it down?" I think it has to do with expectations. It asks, "If I did something for you, would you appreciate it?" I can definitely tell the lyrics have a very bitter tone. "I finally know now what i should've known then that I could still be ruthless if you let me." Whoa. It does sound like he wants revenge. And "Oceans to drown in, you won't make a sound in." It sounds like he was the one that got hurt, and the girl mistreated him and he doesn't want her to forget about what he did. That's what I got from it. | |
