Its to do with a comment Noel Gallagher made in an interview that for the band, doing drugs in the morning was as normal and common as other people having a cup of coffee. The mirror and razorblade are cocaine paraphanalia - Liam and Noel are two notorious cokeheads

Who cares what its about. Its a quality song. DAMN GOOD CHORD PROGRESSION AND CHANGES. Nice one AGAIN oasis. PS they were much better before bonehead and guigsy left. Who agrees?

it's about a guy who's just woken up from a damn good dream and it's talking about morning glory as in an erection. i like the puberty idea.. coz a coke addiction would make no sense seeing as far as i know noel was never an addict.

Great song and a very good band. And for the record, morning glory is a common name for a drug, acid.

The song is about drugs and in an interview Liam described Morning Glory as waking up with a "large one".

the intro to this kicks ass, all the effects and bits of other stuff jumping in and out and then goes straight into a kickass chord progression
