This is the only filler song on the album, but it is the perfect filler track.. It is one of the best albums ever.

I hitched a ride with my soul By the side of the road Just as the sky turned black I took a walk with my fame Down memory lane I never did find my way back hmm.... maybe he became more spiritual when things got bad and he tried to remember life before fame and couldn't? I don't think that would be what they're saying but it's too many nouns to let me do this easily...

It's one of Noel's 1989 demos. The tape was sold; see http://www.mrmonobrow.dsl.pipex.com/monobrow/noelsolo.htm for info. Great song; I think it's about just feeling down and someone re-assuring them.

In my opinion, I hate it when people refer to tracks as "fillers," it simply shows how they don't appreciate certain music. I LOVE this song, probably even more than Wonderwall. This song isn't completely underappreciated, and probably skipped by many of those playing the CD. Sad.... such a beautiful song.

I took a walk with my fame Down memory lane I never did find my way back i always took this to mean that he looked back on his memories, and kind of became obsessed with them, and wanted to relive the good old days, before he was famous.

Great cover. Noel could go solo with all his material he never released. I'd love at least one solo album from him.

It's about how you choose to let your past define you. "Feel no shame, cos time's no chain."

--- I took a walk with my fame Down memory lane I never did find my way back --- i assumed that meant he cant figure out how he became famous the rest of the song just seems to talk in generalities that apply to a lot of situations, something oasis is very good at. a relationship? a spiritual journey? random disjointed thoughts? you decide still an awesome song
