| Don't get so mad... I'm sure that you think some of the bands I listen to suck. The only reason why I said that is because someone got automatically logged on as my name (this site does that for some odd reason) and used my name to post here. I just didn't want people to think I like Oasis when they look through my comments. Hey, at least I could care less about Oasis.... But Dashboard Confessional, now THERES a band I hate. | |

| I think in this song oasis announce that their style will change and won't be like the beatles any more. when you look into the lyrics you wil notice the songs of the beatles like "the fool on the hill " and " I feel fine" and the early songs of oasis which affected by the beatles such as "don't look back = don't look back in anger" and "look into the wall of my mind's eye= wonder wall" I think the 3rd verse (I met my maker....you're born) is talking about an imaginary speak with john lennon in which Noel is saying to lennon that he is not that famous any more and the new generations don't even know that he was born sothat oasis will change the style affected by the beatles. | |

| This song fucking rocks so much and makes me feel bad ass when I sing it as loud as I can with the windows rolled down driving fast on the highway. While I do that I feel like I'm on the top of the world. Be Here Now has A LOT of fucking great songs on it and this one is an absolutely stunning jolt of rock 'n roll. | |

| Noel&liam say...D'You Know What I Mean?- "I was going to make up some profound statement in the chorus but I couldn´t come up with anything that fitted. then I just thought 'All my people right here, right now. D´You know what I mean? Yeah, Yeah - very vague, very ambiguous. Look in the mirror and wink while you sing it and it´s quite saucy. The Morse code in the background was inspired by The Beatles´ Strawberry fields. If anyone can tell me what it means please let me know." | |

| Ok, you think Oasis suck do you. That is an incredibly odd view that relies on ignoring all forms of reality. Why the hell do you care if you like a non-heavy metal band, are you a geek and know you'll get beaten up if you listen to a band with a singer? | |

| To me this was an incredibly disappointing first single from oasis's hugely awaited third album. The day I bought this single was the day I stopped being an Oasis fan. This is one of the shittest songs of the last ten years. Did Noel think he was being clever ripping off one of his own songs because people were slagging him off for ripping off other people’s songs. I'm talking about wonderwall. The whole song is the same chords from the start of wonderwall repeated over and over again untill the end. What a pile of shite this single turned out to be. It all went downhill from here. | |
