| hey! British rule is good! incidently Clinton is a far better human being than Bush will ever be AS WELL as being a better president, and thats an outsiders point of view, i have no bias except to be looking for whats best for a leader on a world scale. and yeah, this song may be a little optimistic to be expecting to make a change to the world, but if it can get people on the local scene to change their ways then thats the first step! | |

| to "startinglinechick", i think you missed the meaning behind this song somewhat, while yes i agree with you about how war is really fucked up, and that the countries should solve their matters in peace instead of violence. the "war" jesse is talking about is the war between races(black, white, asian, etc.) not what people normally think of when they hear the word "war" ...... oh by the way, if you like LoC, choking victim, f-minus, and shit like that, the check out NO-CA$H. you'll fucking love'em. go to listen.to/no-cash to hear them | |

| hey there is no way to get rid of War. Some problems can't be solved with just words. It is a human condition, you can't change it. | |

| to couchpotatohero to quote another op ivy song "nothing can be changed acept ourselves" i think if everyone just made a conciouse effort to unite and treat others with respect this world would be a much better place. as for the song it is definetly one of the best songs i have ever heard. i had made a huge difference in the way that i live my life. | |

| i'm not sure if this song has anything specifially about race. i think it's more about just factions and divisions in society (sometimes along race, sometimes along religion, sometimes along other lines). fight the war. opivy rocks! | |

| This song is probably one of op. ivy's best. even my band has done a cover of it! hehe... Some top lyrics for people so young. These guys were only in their teen when this song was out at first. | |

| ahhh i love op ivy so much i would do anything to see them play, i would kill to of been at their last show, if im not mistaken didnt they stop in the middle of the song unity and leave the stage and all you could hear is the feed back from the instruments and then everyone came on stage and finished sining unity as one. Ah that would have been great. today most locals scenes lack unity, our seen had it goin on pretty good till some fuckers trashed the bathrooms at the place we had our shows just to fuck it up for us. :-( oh well. | |
