| I'd also note the word of the word "credence" in this poem. At the end of Demon of the Fall, his actions (trying to kill her as it makes sense to me), mean she loses her acceptance of his death ... but her words here help him to accept it himself. | |

| Ah - now that I understand that he has made an attempt to kill her (in Demon Of The Fall), then it makes my theory seem even more right. Now at least her use of "cold words" makes sense. She's scared out of her wits, sure, because he attempted to kill her. But now he's embarrassed and shamed by it, and realising that his dilemma is well deserved. | |
