Yes, it's about some sort of resurrection/worship of Satan or perhaps a follower inviting his possession. But you Christian Opeth fans can relax! It's just part of the concept of the album, which I believe (just off the top of my head, I did no real digging) to be about a person who joined the ranks of Satan after the death of his mother. This song kicks ass too, as well as the video, even though it was cut for length, leaving it basically castrated. I really like Per's keyboards in this one, symphonic Opeth is sweet.

from what i can gather, and from what ive interpruted, this is the characters final stand if you will, to conjure the demon inside and face him. Again, i have no lyricall refrence for this, its just a picture in my head, but the last verse may be a conversation with his mother as to why this all has transpired...then it all ends with the demon finally taking over....what happened next?

In my post on Ghost of Perdition, I argue that the song is about a woman giving birth to the antichrist or a demon. To me it seems like this might be a prequel to Ghost of Perdition, where the woman is summoning the devil to come and impregnate her ("Pour yourself into me").
