WOOHOO!! This will always be my favourite OLP song. I love the video too, dispite it's boring-ness. I think it's quite interesting.

I love this song, the video is perfect. It almost forces you to listen to the lyrics because the video doesn't really say. It has the atmosphere (the rain and such). But i really love how they don't sing about pointless things. Almost all their songs have a story behind them.

ender...this song is NOT saying there is a heaven. Notice he starts to say "i can be your...." "there's a house built out in space...." but can't finish these ideas because he is honestly just as helpless and lost as everyone else

I'm not a sentimental type, and I think songs written like sympathy cards are an overused, easy way writers get people to associate strong feelings with their songs. But this song is well-written, has a good melody which coheres with the lyrical theme, and is a decent addition to the rest of the Our Lady Peace legacy.

The live acoustic version of this song makes me sick. If you can find it, try to listen to it. At the start, Raine says "This next song is about a little girl who had a malignant brain tumor", then right after that you can hear some woman in the audience laugh. I don't know if she heard what he said, but there's no excuse for it really. You can hear the emotion in his voice as he says it and she laughs straight after. I'm sorry if she didn't mean it but this really pisses me off

The band met a small girl with a brain tumor in the hospital and she inspired them to write this song. Its about how they felt talking to the girl and how they tried to comfort a girl that was so young and couldn't really understand what was happening to hear.

wow... man o man... WOW. I had no idea what this song was about but now it all makes absolute perfect sense and it makes me want to cry. Amazing. Our Lady Peace can put emotion and music together like no other.

Wow, thanks egoat711! I always wondered who that girl they mentioned at the beginning of the video was, and now I know, thanks to you :) I just wanted to comment on the video... it uses some truly amazing filming techniques, but the real amazing thing is how beautiful it is, although the whole thing just consists of the band sitting on a park bench in the middle of a rain storm! And has anyone noticed how appropriate the video is? When I first heard the song, the guitar and drums in the intro always made me visualize rain, and sure enough, when the video came out, there was rain :)
