Hey this is the basic bass line for not enough
except for a few changes in rythem (listen to song for changes in rythem)

g|------------------------|
d|------------------------|
a|-4--4--0--0--------2--2-|
e|-------------0--0-------|

for the part that repeats "not enough not enough not enough i'm sorry" it's just
c# over and over (or a string 4th. fret) just play the same rythem duncan plays.

Try playing this every once and a while

g|---------------------------------------------------|
d|------------------4-1--------------------------4-1-|
a|-4--4-2-0--0----------2--2-3-4--4-2-0--0-----------|
e|-------------0--0-------------------------0--0-----|

well that's pretty much it pretty easy, not shure if it's right but it's sound right by
the cd.

I first heard this song in a WWE Desire promo video for Jeff Hardy. It really fits. Especially this part: What you want What you lost What you had What is gone is over What you got What you love What you need What you have is real I dunno...makes sense to me.

to me this song is about someone who is just coming near to the end in a period of depression. he is supporting her saying 'when they (whoever they may be, whether they be the voices she hears or the people depressing her) say you aren't strong, you are (you aren't that weak). they are saying she has to get out if it and to be happy again. there isn't anything left to lose/fear - shes lost everything already, so they are convincing her to try and get up again

I always thought this song was about someone important to the narrator dying. Here's why: There’s nothing you can say Nothing you can do There’s nothing in between You know the truth Nothing left to face There’s nothing left to lose Nothing takes your place Someone is dying and you can't do anything about it, and the person knows, but there is nothing you can do, and nothing will take this person's place. When they say You’re not that strong You’re not that weak It's not your fault And when you climb up to your hill Up to your place I hope you’re well Continues the sickness theme...The hill is heaven. The narrator is saying that the person dying is a very strong person, even though his body is weak. There’s nothing left to prove There's nothing I won’t do There’s nothing like the pain I feel for you Nothing left to hide Nothing left to fear I am always here There is really nothing left, and all the narrator can do is be there for this important person. I won't keep typing more lyrics, but the whole not enough concept- the narrator is saying everything I can do is not enough to keep you alive but I can still keep you comfortable and happy. It could also be that I think this becuase I rediscovered this song around the time my grandpa died... but I think my hypothesis is good.
