	I thought that the "purchasing a gun" lyric implied that the crazy fan was going to come after Eddie again. Anyway, basically this song is about a day in the life of Eddie Vedder, and his refuge at his friend Matt Lukin's house, who has the best stocked fridge in the world! "The arches" refers to MacDonalds.

	this song is about Matt Lukin, the bassist for Mudhoney and a good friend of Eddie Vedders When Pearl Jam got really huge, during their first few albums, Eddie would go to Lukin's to get away from the media and fans always knocking at his door
