| Maybe there's some hidden message, but it seems to me it's just about prostitution and lust. That outside he seems respectable "I'm white (pure) on the outside", but secretly he's obsessed with sex "the truth that lies at home It's on the inside". It also seems like he's actually married but still sleeping around (probably with prostitutes) "What she don't know today, might kill us both tomorrow"- physically but it could also kill their relationship. | |

| This song makes me think of NY. The city is so filthy, sexy, dirty. It makes it hard to be clean, even one who is white on the outside. And so you stray, just for a bit...maybe by being with the wrong girl, guy, hooker, drugs, or anything really. The next day you wake up and want the whole city, whatever happened, to be washed away. It's so hard though, because the city and your mind are both filthy. | |

| thats what i love about the band your view of a song will be diffrent from everyone else in this world. to me i think someting to do with ataxia. only because there is a band called ataxia and have a song with around the same meaning as this song (hence the name ataxia). i think that someone is afraid to speak out about something and it might kill their love to their lover or something. sort of like a stage im going throught (only being 15) when my mind is my own. hoping to get it sorted out soon though. i wont have to play ataxia and wash my feelings to myself!! (think about that line i wrote) | |
