Young Lust is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs because it's so different from their other songs. And every time I hear it I think of female strippers on a dance pole, and the imagery with the song merge and create something taboo, yet artistic.

Iboseth - What Shall We Do Now was originally scheduled to follow Empty Spaces which is a list of things that can be used to fill the empty spaces. This starting just after Empty Spaces is all due to album space. This song is about a school leaver, a teenager who is obsessed with getting a woman and having sex hence the title - 'Young Lust'

Kafziel, I think you're wrong about something - Pink doesn't realize that empty sex won't help him. He's just turning to whatever he can find to distract himself, trying to forget his troubles. "Would your next thought be 'I need a dirty woman'?" His would be - or alcohol or drugs etc.

i thought this was by queen, just a poor vocal performance by freddie, it kinda went along w/ the "killer queen" "fat bottomed girls" "tie your mother down" idea...then i listened to the wall for the first time and there it was...my bad...

It also fits into the storyline of the wall -- the young isolated artist has to turn to some floozy b/c his wife is in bed with another man
