"Oh my God! What a fabulous room! Are all these your guitars?" (I'm sorry, sir. I didn't mean to startle you) "This place is bigger than our appartment!" (Let me know when you're entering a room. Yes, sir) "Can I get a drink of water?" (I was wondering about...) "You want some, huh?" (Yes) "Oh wow! Look at this tub! Do you wanna take a baaaaath?" (I'll have to find out from Mrs. Bancroft what time she wants to meet us, for her main...) "What are you watching?" (If you'll just let me know as soon as you can... Mrs. Bancroft... Mrs. Bancroft...) "Hello!" (I don't understand) "Are you feeling okay?"

If you love Pink Floyd The Wall and you want to really learn about the meanings to the songs, check out this web site. I was blown away by how complete and insightful it was. A must see for any Pink Floyd fan (http://home.mchsi.com/~ttint/) PS. if the link is broken, do a search for "A Complete Analysis of Pink Floyd's The Wall" in Yahoo, or Google. Hope you like it.

this song is the part in the story of "The Wall" where the character, Pink, brings a groupee up to his room to possibly get back at his cheating wife......as he sees the WWII movie on tv, he stops and watches, possibly remembering his father who died in WWII.......later in the song, he flips out as anyone can see. He talks about how the love in his marriage is dying.

Actually, Pink brings a groupie into his apartment. The groupie comes into the apartment and starts sayin things like "are all these guitars yours," or "this place is bigger thane my apartment." This shows how the groupie is only interested in materialism and not in pink. The groupie represents the life that Pink is leading which includes fame and materialism. In the first half of the song, he talks about his dying love and his marrige falling apart (he is cheating on his wife.) Then, he realizes he doesnt like this life, so he chases away the groupie (the symbol of this life) saying that, "this is just a passing phase. Just one of my bad days."

he isn't talking to his wife, at the begining she says: "Oh my god! What a fabulous room, look at all these guitars", young lust makes that very clear
