One Of These Days by Pink Floyd

This is one of the coolest songs to play on the bass and one of the
most fun. You will need a delay pedal and play around with it until
you get the right timing (i havent found the exact one yet).

Wind sounds begin, bass doesnt start until 0:36

Intro (2 bars):
G|-----------------|-----------------|
D|-----------------|-----------------|
A|-----------------|-----------------|
E|--7--------------|--7--------------|
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 1 + 2 + 3 + 4

Verses:
G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|-----------------| x12
E|--7---7---7---7--|
1 + 2 + 3 + 4

Verses:
G|-----------------|
D|-----------------|
A|-----------------| x4
E|--5---5---5---5--|
1 + 2 + 3 + 4

That is basically the whole song with the exception for the long
break that begins at 2:50 and ends on 3:44 which has no bass in it.

Thanks for viewing my tab and if you have any questions leave
me a message in my inbox. Thx, Andrew

Roger Waters called this song "a poignant appraisal of the contempary social situation" Nitroguy pretty much got it right on, it represents the typical stresfull day and the release at the end of it. I think Roger was trying to say that we should all slow down a little and chill out before we all go insane and kill eachother.

I love this song, it is amazing in so many ways. So complecated and yet so simple. I like the PULSE version more, I had to rip it off my own VHS. I don't know why they didn't put it on the cd.

This song is so captivating. When i listened to it for the first time i was waiting for the lyrics to start, and then, before i even knew it, the song was over. Talk about being entranced.
