Pink Floyd
Dogs
From 'Animals' (1977)
Riff 1 (intro)
G--------|--------|-------|---------|
D--------|--------|-------|---------|
A---5----|---2----|---1---|----2----|
E--------|--------|-------|---------|
Riff 2
G--------|--------|-------|---------|
D--------|--------|-------|---------|
A---3----|---5----|---1---|----3----|
E--------|--------|-------|---------|
-This is the main order of the song. You'd have to listen to it
to get the riffs in the correct order but I think it shouldn't
be that hard. By the way, I think this is the first time 'Dogs'
has ever been tabbed on Bassmasta. :-) Enjoy.

| Dogs like the rest of animals compares humans to animals. this is the best song of the cd. i love it.... i love the lyrics of the first verse.... you have to be trusted by the people that you lie to so that when they turn their backs on you you'll get the chance to put the knife in... and i always thought that the song pigs was about the three little pigs of real life.... | |

| Roger didn't necessarily base this album on the book, but he did base the metaphors around the book. The Animals album is more about society today, instead of Orwell's book of society during the revolution. | |

| Good analasyis, Atemporal. Don't forget, no matter how powerful and greedy and smart the dogs are, it's the pigs who are using them, and the pigs who will win in the end. To bring another song into this... "Pigs on the Wing Part II" "everyone knows that a dog needs a home, a shelter form pigs on the wing" | |

| I love Pink Floyd alot, thier sound is completly thier own and this song really portrayes that aspect. Also the album which it comes from: Animals, is in my view thier best album that they made. | |

| This is by far my favorite Pink Floyd song because it has the best synths I've heard from them next to Welcome To The Machine. Even the lyrics made me stop and think if I forgot to turn the oven off. | |
