There are some bass fills that I didn't tab because i think it should be to
the player to add his
own improvisation and fills. Enjoy it!

i think its all about sex. HAWTT promiscuous sex & using people. i think the first verse is about getting a blow job ["sucker love"] off a male prostitute "your body's rent" being a reference to rent boys. it might not be a rent boy, just casual sex so it feels sorta dirty. he's telling the guy to "pucker up". "sucker love is known to swing" refers to brian;s bisexuality... i.e) 'swinging both ways' he;s aware that he's using/hurting people as a result of this lifestyle "i always find someone to bruise and leave behind" "prone to cling" is about when you fuck someone but you seem to mean more to them than they do to you so you feel that they're clingy. i'm probably wrong about all this. i think that there are other "topics" in the song & other meanings but those were just my jumbled thoughts of the moment that probably make little sense to the reader. total addiction to placebo here, in love with nearly everything they throw our way. i think the albums get worse as they go along though and that the first 2 greatly surpass the second 2. i saw placebo live on tuesday and they rawked my socks off. brian is way sexxxxy to the max. & stefan has this amazing presence that was just.... just. they left me in awe.

i hate reading other people's interpretations..lol..i had my own little explanation in my head. but i guess that's why Brian's lyrics are so good, you can basically get anything you'd like out of them. to me, 'sucker love' is just love in general, he's calling it 'sucker love' because if you believe in love, you're a sucker (wow, i'm smart). i totally relate to 'my hearts a tart' because well, mine is. i wish this song wasn't in the skating video or whatever because it made this poser i know like them for about a week. heh. i'd imagine he looked them up, saw a picture of Brian, thought she was very hot and then realized he was a guy, and now won't listen to the band. anways, great song. amazing band.

AllStarMe - is that because you witnessed the powerful talents of Appleyard skating to it on Sorry and hearing the song makes you want to skate like that? I heard this song on Cruel Intentions first and listened to it a bit at the time, now I listen to it again with the Flip vid bringing it back to my attention - great song but I can't really say I'm into Placebo that much.

I love this song. I just wanted to point out that the title's not necessarily the opposite way round to the chorus, if you listen it goes 'Every me and *every you, every me*'. You just have to look at it slightly differently.

stormywatersangel: yeh this is on cruel intentions but molko didn't write it for that movie, ther4 just coz it "fits" with the movie doesn't mean its about the meaning of that movie. It could be about that type of love but could also be about the drugs thing which brokenviolent picked up on. Just because its from a love type teenage chick flick thing doesn't really mean it has the same meaning as the film its for, i think it could be looked into a lot deeper than that although the surface meaning is the love crap, personally though, i totally agree with brokenviolent. And anyway, at the end he does love the blonde bitch so that doesn't really tie in with the song. outcasted skater: its every you and every me not vice versa, he just says it the other way round in the song. personally not my fave but its still cool, personally nancy boy and burger queen are always gonna be my faves! laters
