| I think it has a lot to do with depression yes, but I like better to agree with Never Looking Back - this song is meant to give an overall positive feeling. I think it's sorta sayin, through depression and hard times, you can still be happy. But reading the other words, I think he's saying how he lets his anger take control of too much of his life and with lines like 'making all who care for me go through all my worst times with me,' I think he's saying he is dragging his family along with him, possibly unintentionally. But think about it, 'I wake up with my eyebrows pointing towards my mouth' ... He's angry. And he probably doesn't want to be. 'It's so hard to be these days...' ...Yeah, it's tough to live in these rough times. Everyone get what I'm sayin?! | |

| There are days in everybodys life where youre just depressed and angry. at the end of these days you look back and feel sorry for everyone who suffered from your bad mood. you want to be happy, really.. but sometimes everything looks so fucking hopeless. all these emotions,anger sadness and the reach for hapiness make this song so great to hear! if youre really down and listen to this song, you completely agree with it! | it is tacking about an emo kid that the only way he/she sees to be happy is to sort of be included in the sort of "club" of like hard-core metal people that look like they're always depressed and stuff. He yets not understand how it works, but he's got no choice.(but he does actually) | |

| I happen to think that this is about being foolish and insecure and loving every moment of being depressed because you know who really cares. It may take you some time to wise up and realize what reactions to your situation mean what but you haven't learned what means what. I think the parts about 'i wasted all my time trying to remember the word content was' means the speaker has realized who really cares and he can move on but he doesn't know how beause he's feigned this depression for so long. | |
