	"At Woodstock 1994, Perry specifically discussed the meaning of "Tahitian Moon." He explained that while he and a friend were vacationing in Tahiti, his friend had gone out to swim for a while. Perry said that it was getting dark so he went out to search for his friend. He stated that his boat sank while searching and he was forced to swim back to shore under the moonlight. He also said that, unbeknownst to him, his friend had come back from his swimming trip much earlier that day." GREAT SONG.
