Song: These Days
Artist: Powderfinger
Album: Odyssey no. 5
Tabbed by Camel_spit mcleod2830@bigpond.com

This is a kick-arse song from Powderfinger (go aussies) and its heaps
easy - the first song I played along to when I got my Bass.
This is my first ever tab so it may not be perfect.
Standard Tuning (EADG)

A-2-2-2-2-----------0-0-0-0---------------- --------------------------
E----------------------------0-0-0-0------- --------------------------

The slow bit is exactly the same as Verse one
Outro is the same as chorus one except it is repeated 4 times instead of 2.
End on open E string

I know that looks a little strange up there, so here is the structure of
the song as well as values of the notes, cause they change around a bit.

Intro___________crotchet, dotted minim, then D is a semibreve.
Verse 1_________" " The first open D is a sembrv.,
the second is 8 quavers.
Chorus one______quavers
Verse 2 (pt 1)__semibreves
Verse 2 (pt 2)__crotchet minim crotchet | crotchet minim crotchet | etc
The D's leading into chorus 2 are quavers *|= bar line
Chorus two______Crotchets the E's are quavers The E's going into the
bridge are quavers too
Bridge__________quavers
Slow bit________exactly the same as Verse one
Outro___________exactly the same as chorus one

OK thats it Remember that this is my first tab, so if you think its really
bad (or if you have any suggestions) email me.

Great song from a great band, but I'll always just remember it as the song that plays in Two Hands when the little girls walks into Bryan Brown's office and shoots him and his three mates.

I love this song so much! It's so beautiful, yet so sad. I don't like the way it's been portrayed by the TAC...is it? In the advertisment on TV about car accidents. Now when I hear this song, all I see are people who have been in car accidents, and are dying... :( But I'll get over that. These days is so amazing, it's simple, yet so strong, it's soft but it stays with you (Even if it makes me think about dead people) GOSH I love it; so unbelievable. GO POWDERFINGER.

this is the best song EVER, it went along with the movie two hands where he was involved in the mob and his brother was killed in it too, but he was trying to get out. and also it always reminds me of when they played it at one of our schools yr 12 graduations a few years ago and they all started crying. a really beautiful but sad song!
