* Greet The Sacred Cow *
************************
By Primus
From the "Antipop" Album
Tabbed By NutButter (Bass Player for 5 Sided Cube)
I found the original version tabbed on the archive to be
wrong (author is not listed on the original version), so
I thought I would correct the problem. I have included a
full tab and not just the corrections. All notes on the E
and A strings are slapped, all notes on the D and G strings
are popped. You'll have to work out the order of the riffs
yourselves but it's not too hard.
h - hammer on
p - pull off
x - muted note
* - natural harmonic

| the indians (in india) think the cow is sacred so lines like " Line 'em up now to greet the sacred cow." may have something to do with the masses of people dying slow deaths due to cancer from eating too much red meat (beef?) "If i'm zapped with radiation, they say i'll last another year." has to do with kemo and radio therapy to treat cancer? i dunno, love primus, antipop is for sure their most listenable album and the one with the fattest bass licks from claypool. | |
