| Maybe its about how some things are out of our control and so down to 'luck', but other things are determined by how we live and our choices in life. For example whilst it might be luck that we were born into a wealthy society (in relative terms) where we aren't starving as in third world countries, but we need to earn a living to pay for food. Our appearance is largely genetic but we can change it etc. Or maybe it's a reference to fate, is it luck (predetermined) how our lives turn out or do we define it ourselves? | |
