Les remembering high school (duh) Jenny is probably the beauty queen in "Hats off" and the girl behind the glass in "Glass sandwich" (read my comment there to find out why i say that) the other people were just his friends that did something notable enough for les to remeber them for this long. he snoted a milk shake right up his nose....wow....high five todd.

Maybe it's about being remembered after you're gone, or about creating a legacy; you can kind of choose how you'll be remembered depending on what you do: good, bad or just crazy. Each verse is about remembering someone for some reason, so that's what I think the metaphor is, the literal meaning is kinda obvious, like 'The Air is Getting Slippery' it just ties together different characters mentioned in Primus songs.
