I think it's more specifically about happiness coming and going over time, though otherwise I agree.

I was at the Wells Auto Museum in Maine, and they had Nickelodeons With porno in them. You drop in a few dimes and there's a bucnh of naked chics dancing or something. Yeah that's what the song reminds me of.
