| MC5, the New York Dolls, and The Who were far greater influences on punk than the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, or The Clash. (although the Clash are fucking sweet) Also NOFX has to be one of the most politically incorrect bands to exist, and they've been writing the same songs over and over again for the past twenty something years. The one thing they had going for them was not giving a fuck about anything and some of their very early songs against commonly accepted punk ideas, like Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo, which is obviously against being vegetarian. | |
