I LOVE this song and all other songs by Puddle Of Mudd. I think they have lots of talent and they make great songs, with lyics that teenagers can relate to. Come Clean is an awesome CD.

this is a great song this is probably after he realizes his girlfriend hates him like the song she hates me and he realizes he must drift around place to place and soon enough drift and die.

OK! rofello. you have a great point. "forgotten thoughts of yesterday" and "through my eyes I see the past" are obviously refering to somthing that was once, and is no more. ( in my opinion something he belived/believes in ) "go away go away go away from me leave me alone" has nothing to do with seing another side of anything, however, rather the obvious thought of trying to banish a certen manerism, opinion, persistant thought, or some such thing. "how much will money bye", however, is probably the INcorect spelling, and other sites make mistakes too. he wonders what out of life he could really get with all his fame and riches. "Well I'll take my time as I drift and die" you probably have right. "ignorance spreads lies" thinking LOGICALY here, and without disrespect to any religion, the logical train of thought would be that there IS evolution. evolution has HARD PROOF. religion has, what, the opinions of millions and some books? who was THERE, that SAW god creat earth? what has god done that could not me a scientific anomaly? but ANYwais... "Unwanted live my life a shame" you also have right. "Who's to blame for my mistakes" you have right again. but the thought on religion? waaay off. no whear does it say in the song anything close refering to any of the many religions. this song is of his doupts, his fears, not his god.

This is song is about Wes Scantlin. When he lived in Kansas City he had a band there. These were like 4 best friends. Well one day Fred Durst came to one of their shows and liked Wes a lot. But he didn't like the rest of the band. So he paid Wes a lot of money to ditch the band and come with Fred. This song is about Wes feeling sorry and missing his friends.

Mudd is a no talent band that was just created for teeny boppers to bandwagon on so they can say they relate to the songs and that they're capable of feeling angst

who ever says a band doesnt have ANY talent is totaly wrong, they must have some even if its not in music (wich isnt true with this band) to get there name and meassage out there. i no how hard it is to play music with other people and i think ppl should look at the musicians they listen to before citisising others

i dont know why people come on here to diss..thats not even what this site is about ..you're supposed to tell what you think the song means dammit! as for people saying puddle of mudd has no talent and was created for teeny boppers..why does everything have to be defined by everyone! there are so many emotions and music is emotion..u cant just have one type of music so deal with it! now...i think puddle of mudd rocks and this is definately one of their best songs! BAM!

This is a song about gossip and rumors and the people who start them. The lies are pushing him away, destroying his life and he's telling them to leave him alone and go away.

This is an AWESOME song and I think that it actually ranks better than the first two songs, Control and Blurry. This is just an AWESOME song a LOCUST is GAY! This is a hard working band out of Kansas City and is not for the teeny boppers! If there was a band and teeny boppers like their songs, that does NOT mean that the band is for TEENY BOPPERS or that they LIKE TEENY BOPPERS! They have no say over who likes them. THAT IS WHY I HATE WHEN TOP 40 STATIONS PLAY PUDDLE OF MUDD OR ANY OTHER GOOD ROCK SONG! Then they get a lot of GAY fans and the song gets WAY OVERPLAYED! Great song though! GO PUDDLE OF MUDD!
