| I heard that it was written in the bath at a hotel in Munich, Germany...oh well. Then the video was very Elvis-like too. It's funny that people mistaked it for an Elvis song :D I always thought the original lyrics were with "she." But then again, in the video, he dances with both men and women, as though to say, "Well, I'm not saying what my sexuality is! MAYBE I'm straight, and MAYBE I'm gay." Though the women were more touchy with him, but homosexuality wasn't as accepted then. But whatever...if straight people can go on about their love, then gay people can too. As for the meaning of the song...it doesn't sound like a gay anthem or really deep or anything like that. It sounds like Freddie just wanted to do an Elvis impression and say that love is a difficult and confusing thing. | |
