	Let's start with the first verse: the description of what typically happens when humans grow old. The second verse is much the same, read it. The chorus You've got to feel it in your bones means to me that life is worthless without passion and desire (which fades with age). The middle 8 (Flying like Peter Pan) Refers to be believe that everyone has that they will never grow old and that when certain people are filled with passion and share it, others will follow because they want a piece of that feeling (hence Radiohead's massive success).

	Nice Dream. How can that not be a favorite? Best song off the Bends and the reason I got into radiohead. I guess everyone's intitled to their own wrong opinion.

	I agree with what the last person said. He doesn't want to face being little more than helpless when he could "fly like perter pan." Also I can't believe this is a favourite. I mean high and dry and Just are much, much better..........but each to their own I suppose.

	I really do love this song and it's one of my favorties off of The Bends. While I do enjoy Radiohead's lryics, it's not the lryics that make this song for me. It's the chorus. A brilliant song.

	this song is so beautiful. Thom has an AMAZING aptitude for making a song mean exactly what he is feeling. you can truly hear his emotions when you listen to this song.

	This is my favorite radiohead song of all time.. and as far as the lyrics being obvious,,, so what? why does it have to be complicated to be good? even the music is so simple but awesome, jonny's guitar is so easy here, i think thats why i love it so much...

	this is my favorite radiohead song ever and i think it has something to do with a reoccuring theme that Thom had in the older days of living healthy and being fit and happy (as we later see it reenforced in OK Computer). this is him worrying about not being healthy and what the first guy said as well.

	Best song off The Bends? Really? The lyrics are far too obvious in their meaning, the song itself is bad (can't stand that bass), plus Just, The Bends, Planet Telex, My Iron Lung, Street Spirit and High & Dry are ten times better.

	i used to fly like Peter Pan all the children flew when i touched their hands that line just kills me. simple yet brilliant.
