KID A
Radiohead
Tabbed by Shor Bowman (abowman@sas.upenn.edu)
This song really does not have that much bass
in it. But what bass it does have is really cool,
so I decided to go ahead and tab it out. Everything
listed in the first two riffs is my basic rendition
of the synth notes, put into bass form. I think that
it sounds pretty accurate, however. If you have any
questions whatsoever, please feel free to email me.
NOTE: The sound is excellent when you put in a lot
of slides. So make sure to!
G-----------------------------------|
D-----------------------------------|
A-8-8-/-10-10-/---------------------|
E---------------10-10-/3-8-8--------|
"We've got heads on sticks..."
MAKE SURE to do the last slide quickly!
G-----------------------------------|
D-----------------------------------|
A-----------------------------------|
E-13-13-/-8-8-/-1-1--1-1-/-13-13-13-|
"Staring at the shadows..."
G-----------------------------------|
D-----------------------------------|
A-----------------------------------|
E-8-8-/-5-5-/1-1--1-1-/-13-13-13----|
This is a variation on the above riff you can play
G-----------------------------------|
D-----------------------------------|
A---1-3-3--3--3-3----1-3-3--3--3-3--|
E-1----------------1----------------|
This is the riff that you play at the end of the
"Staring at the shadows..." section. It's also the
one you play after Yorke goes "C'mon, kids" (or
"Watch this," whichever one you think it is).
That brings us to the end! Have fun!

| About what i said about how it connects with his other peices: check out the early acoustick version of Radiohead's Motion Picture Soundrack. He also refers to how sleeping pills, cheep sex, white/red wine (depending on the version) and so on help him get on with life...hmmm... | |

| i think this song follows the whole album concept of the first human clone. i think its about how the people who made kid a ultimately control him. "head on sticks" and "ventriloquists" shows this idea that kid a is being controlled | |
