hey all you out there you want to know the meaning of this son. well this song is about a person or persons that that are angry. at first they don't understand the man, he talks in math means that they don't and they are outsiders. second the girl makes them mad so they crash her party, and they are saying that she mad them mad too. because they are mad enough to mention her hitler hairdo

I believe that Thom said in an interview that the idea for this song started on tour. Whenever someone would do something not-nice, another band-member would say "be careful, or the karma police will get you". I think the song just grew out of that idea.

This song was originally about the tour and things not happening according to plan. Otherwise that, what does it mean to you? To me, since I find everyone not of my specifications, this song has great meaning to me. Throught the eerie sounds of the distant guitar to the chilling sounds of Thoms voice, this is just a beautifully masterpiece of wonderful lyrics anyone who thinks for themself could come to love. Listen and Feel.

This song interpretation system has to be the funniest bloke in town. I'm laughing my ass off at these interpretation. Karma Police is about the time when I ran Ed around the drumsets. He slipped and fell in. Instantly I screamed "You're it" and ran away. He wanted to yell "Bloody wanker" but Freudian slipped "Karma Police" instead. In all due seriousness, this is about Molly Bloom. She's making me feel so ill, dear Molly in perpetual bed, I feel as though I need a cardiac arrest from crashing her dinner party. Thank god we're potty trained.

It's like hating to be hateful... I donīt know. It seems to be about things you don't like but you do, about being robbed and arrested by yourself. Karma is like that: balance.

oops, almost forgot about the karma part! i guess, money ("the payroll") can only take you so far, your actions catch up with you in the end.
