Band: Rage Against the Machine
Song: Bulls on Parade
Album: Evil Empire
This is in standard tuning, Drop D if you wish, very easy to play.
I tabbed this after watching the music video, various live videos,
and the live instrumental version (from Audioslave Live in
Cuba), this is completely correct. Despite popular belief
there is NO bass solo EXCEPT in the live instrumental version,
which has several differences in structure and such. The "S"
under some of the notes means the note is intended to be slapped.

| I'm just guessing here, but I think the "Bulls" refers to the people in of the country and those who are put into war, which is the "parade". But not the good kinda parade like the Santa Clause parade or Thanksgiving Parade. In China (as i hear it), when a person is convicted and sentenced the death sentence, (which is many), they are first paraded out in the streets chained together to humilate them and to show the people what happens to them. After the parade, they are lined up and shot execution style and they throw away their bodies. The song doesn't relate DIRECTLY to that, but I think (AND I STRESS THE WORD "THINK"), that the government parades the troops and the people who fight for the country off into war to let them die, and suffer. The parade kills people of other countries and hurts everyone else. | |

| "this rotten sore on the face of mother earth..." Definately referring to the USA. I think this song just disses the US system in every way. | |
