	I see it as a kid who's ready to shoot his father for abusing his mother, "Her body numbs as he approaches the door." and, "Hey revolver, don't mothers make Good fathers?"

	You can interpret the song as a metaphor for the US and mexico, you can interpret it as anything you want, but that definitely isn't what the song was written about. As mentioned before, this is about domestic violence, using boxing as imagery. "A spotless domain Hides festering hopes she's certain there's more Pictures of fields without fences" in artless terms, meaning keeping a clean, generic house in order for abused housewives to keep themselves in a rut. As far as the revolver part goes, the more obvious meaning would be to do with the firearm, but most rage songs aren't that transparent. With the theme of domestic violence I would take a guess the double meaning would have something to do with the wife and kid's lives revolving around their abusive husband/father.
