| i would firstly like to disagree with gotterdam, although the exact translation for "du hast" is "you have", u have to understand that rammstein use a different type of german language. rammstein are not using the modern day version of script...so in old german language, du hast means you hate. from your freindly rammstein fan....jamie. | |

| Actually, I think Rammstein meant it to mean "You Hate." Think about the band, and listen to their other songs... it's obviously not "You Have." Anyway, its an awesome song. | |

| hahahaha Ohne Dich isn't a R+ song, it's a mislabeled Megaherz song although I can't think of the one at the moment. And I'd like to say that this is yet another song with a double meaning and not the "You Have" "You Hate" (By the way on their official website they have it as "You Hate" but whatever) Scheide and scheide are two different words, one meaning scheath/vagina and the other meaning seperate. Putting a whole new spin on the song | |

| a lot of their songs are about relationships, not violence nessicarily. A lot of songs also have double meangings. Some of their songs have violence, but they're not all about violence. I think that's what he was trying to say. If not, then... oh well, that's what I'm saying. | |

| so lemme get his straight: by wolf_rahm on 06-10-2002 @ 08:50PM yep, Rammstein is all about "Hate" NOT. They HAVE said themselves that their songs are all about relationship with you/me and everybody. For example a song as Ich Will. Its about Rammsteins relationship with, the audience. The only "hate" related thing in this song is in the video where a lot of Journalists are bleeding and all, but thats because they dont like the press because they came up with all this bitching a couple of years ago calling Rammstein Neo-Nazis, which was _Redicules_ (and they are not Nazis, sorry) An example of how people a translating their lyrics and apperance wrongly, just like you are doing now. Hope you can read this :/ is this dude saying that arent violent? cuz last time I cecked the song "White Flesh" was about violence | |
