| To me, this is not just about a city. It's about an entire country, or what used to be a country. In the song he declares how beautiful the city is, but it's nothing more than a whore. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, many Russians (atleast those I know) refer to it in the same fashion. Was grand, still is grand; but it's become less than it should be. | |
