"Great song, but I definitely prefer the live version to the LP. Phil Spector overproduced this (and the whole album) so damn much... It kills me not to be able to hear Dee Dee's bass on this song." I agree about how Spector over-produced it. If it makes you feel any better though, he's rotting in jail right now...

This ... is so fuckin' true. I mean, I can't tell one modern "punk" band from another! (come to think of it ... there are only about two modern bands that don't sound like everyone else: The White Stripes and Ash). You're right people, I couldn't say it better myself, music today mostly sucks the big hairy monkey one ... if only people had listened the first time 'round and stopped with the disco and the indie and the prentious, high-minded lyrics and the transformation of the rockstar into the boy-next-door at a mic/with a guitar/behind the drums. Ah well. We've still got the classics.

probably my favorite Ramones song, even though the sax riff was pretty much completely antithetical to punk rock. this shoulda been a massive radio hit....
