| Marilyn Manson's cover of this song totally sucks. It's almost as bad as Rancid's cover of "Sheena is a Punk Rocker". | |

| clash is right - Joey wrote this song when his girlfriend left him for Johnny (they later married) - Joey went through a period of depression after the break-up, and this song was his way of working through it. | |

| I gotta comment on the post by zzzz that Joey wrote this because Johnny stole his girl. This is complete bullshit. KKK was written in 1980 and Johnny didn't screw around with Joey's girl until much later. KKK just sounded cool and it worked. No deeper message than that. Its just a narative hook. No more. Don't read anything deeper. They didn't. | |

| They did I Wanna Be Sedated. I actually liked a lot of the songs off of it. KISS's version of "Do You Remember Rock'N Roll Radio?" was great. And I really liked Green Day's cover of "Outsider". | |

| i think its about the impact that hate-filled people like members of the KKK have on other peoples lives. it is a very good song, but on the tribute cd marilyn manson covered it, and his version butchered this song so badly that i could've cried, almost all the covers on that cd suck harshly | |
