Amazing song. My band covered it. So fun to play. I think he's talking about politics in this song. And how the world is going crazy. Like your kind of just sitting at home watching all this crazy stuff happen on the tv.

Reagan took a lot of flack for that trip, since he participated in a memorial at a cemetery which held quite a lot of dead Nazis. Dee Dee later weakened his dislike of Ronnie and changed the title to "My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down."

This song has the BEST song lyrics, I remember listening to them when I was younger and it making me want to kick those facious, controlling authoritarian figures right in the face! Not that I actualy did... but one can dream.

As said before it's about Reagans controversial trip Germany to be a part of a memorial service that paid respect to some fallen Nazi soldiers... Johnny hated the idea of the song cos he was strictly right wing

Its about legendary Led Zepplin drummer John Bonham and his drinking habits, although it has nothing to do with that.

It's a cool song, but I prefer their non-political songs more.

Awesome song, the meaning has actually been discussed 'n' stuff. So yeah just wanted to say Trashlight Vision do a good cover of this song. :)

This song is about Ronald Reagan\'s controversial trip to a nazi cemetary in Bitburg, Germany. Also, \"Bonzo\" is the name of a monkey that appeared in a movie with Reagan

Bonzo is supposed to be Ronald Regan (if I'm not mistaken) and his trip to Germany.
