| I was reading in the booklet that comes with the remastered and expanded version of the debut album that this song was inspired by some of the wealthier mothers in Queens with their prams and the brats in it. I think of this song as one of the great four songs that open the debut album and the anthology album. It summarises part of the Ramones well - their catchy anti-social nature. | |

| I agree with some of you when you say that Ramones' songs have no meaning: they're just songs for singing quickly, meaning is a secundary aspect... | |

| There is no real depth to this song. Joey was inspired to write it because he saw a woman chasing her son with a baseball bat. Then he just threw in a few 'Oh yeah's. That's not to say it's a bad song. I'd like to think not all good songs have to have really deep lyrics. I like songs for different reasons; sometimes for the lyrics, sometimes for the melody, sometimes both. | |

| RIP Joey. You were my hero. It's because Joey saw rich brats, and he hated them because Joey had a hard life with his parents being divorced and having 1 brother. | |
