i love this song it makes happier than i am its awsome!!!!!! its a really good song especialy when it is really really loud!

This song is about 'selling out'. Basically, Rancid saw first hand some of the record companies' games, and they knew the price. 2 sides coming in quick is reference to the two sides of the argument, 1 is sell out, the other is doing the same thing but getting more cash for it. Obviously, on an aside, Rancid was going to Epic records, the same record company as the clash, probably because it would hold a little more 'punk' credability. The 2nd verse is about how either way, he got famouse, and he wants to duck out.

Whoa, yeah, I guess Rancid sold out, but so did The Clash in a way. And Rancid STILL isn't, like, extremely well known. Anyway, this song is really cool because it's really catchy and a little pop-ish sounding but totally kick ass

Rancid didn't switch record label, just their distributor. A record label is responsible for the records, the distributors load them on big trucks or choo choo trains and bring them to your record store. If you still think they sould out, this song's for you.
