ah this song is one of their more poetic ones, and one of their better ones from UNDOUBTEDLY one of, if not THE best of their albums. i think its great how he compares heatache to an old friend. its clever cos when you've got some heartache going on its painful but there's a small glimmer of hope because its pain over something good, if u get what i mean. anyway im posting here cos its appropriate to me right now :s god i feel like such an emo fucking net-nerd...ah fuck it!

tcan be taken 2 ways, either its a personal story of one of the band meeting a girl in cleveland and then having to leave because they were on tour "you can take my money, you can take my time, but you cant take my heart its in the city behind" as well as that, its just a general song about falling in love with someone that you shouldnt, even though you know u shouldnt and how you cant control that.

This is one of my favourite if not my favourite rancid song i love them all hardcore or soft from disgruntled to Time bomb but when i first heard this i fell in live with it , at the time i fancied this girl and you know last thing you think of before you go to sleep first when you wake that first line did it for me 'good mornin heartache your like an old friend come and see me again' Anywho i think it's about tim playing in cleaveland and liking this girl but she treats him bad i.e the last verse 'you take my money and you can take my time' etc but thats what i think you guys may know different but hey we all know rancid rule.
