everytime i hear the beginning of this song, i think it's "pressure drop" by toots and the maytals or skatalies, i forgot which one. this song is the worst i've heard of rancid. i'm happy with the outcome of "red hot moon" tho. i haven't heard Indestructable yet, but i wouldn't call them sell outs. who says they play some bad songs for the money? even tho kelly osbourne was in it..and guys from gc.

i think this is the worst song from indestructible. i do think rancid have sold out because they have tried to make a really radio friendly commercial album for whatever reasons and it doesnt befit them. that fact is actually quite reassurring- that rancid couldnt be a chart pop band even if they wanted to, they're music will never be what the Warner Bros CEOs will want. I dont blame them anyway, they got enough good albums and indestructible on the whole isnt too bad. oh and btw maybe mem0ries it isnt tim doing the rapping on the album.

ok it is a good song, and it has got a bit less of the raw agression that weve got from previous albums. But the message is still there. Rancid have had more consumer friendly albums before I.e ...And out come the wolves, but then went back to there roots afterwards i.e rancid(2000). But to be honest i like most of rancids stuff anyway. If its a good song its a good song, who the hell cares if everyone else likes it or not.

"sell outs" or not, i love this song, i love the message, this was my pick-me-up song when i was in the worst of my depression, ive been listening to rancid for forever (even for a while when they were operation ivy) and if they still sound good ill still listen to them.

After Brody divorced Tim, he went through a really rough time, and his friends in the band helped him get through it, so this song is about how friends can help you through tough situations. A lot of people I know think this is Rancid's sell-out song. I don't think so though.

The Transplants = Travis Barker of (former?) Blink, Tim Armstrong of Rancid, & "Skinhead" Rob Aston, a friend of theirs who raps on Indestructible. Great stuff check it out. This song is just happy and fun. You can't call them sellouts for something like this man, I've been listening to Rancid quite long and anyone else who has also would notice that their sound changes often from being raw as fuck to being melodic and everywhere in between. They still have their original trademark style -- when you hear any song on this album you can tell that it's Rancid. They haven't changed their sound grossly to please the media. They have also changed a lot personally so of course their sound is going to change. PG-13? I believe about 10 minutes in the album they scream "Motherfuckers" as many times as possible in David Courtney. Classic Rancid -- they never cursed way excessively in the first place as compared to many other bands. Hell, Korn is more outwardly explicit than Rancid for crying out loud. If you guys stop liking a band because they're able to make a profit then you guys are selling the band out, not the other way around. Pease Fuckas.

exactly...u can only be a true "punk" if u like underground bands, but as soon as those bands get noticed u cant like them anymore...its all a bunch of crap.

Just because they write a song a bunch of people like doesnt mean they sold out.
