| I am so glad this song is acoustic b/c it is perfect! Chris sums it up perfectly... it's the best sad/breakup song to sing along to. Definitely about two people breaking up and how he can't get over her and perhaps entertain false hopes that she will change her mind and get back w/ him even though he knows in his heart, they are really over. He is tired of always being the first one to give in and call and try and talk things out (Why does my heart always beat before yours does?) b/c he knows if she cared half as much as he, she'd make the initiative this time. And when she doesn't call him, he is sad and in denial. (So I'm making myself believe in you). This song always makes me think of how I know I really like a guy, b/c I'd save his voicemails so I can replay it and listen to his voice.. sorry if it seems creepy but hey, I know I'm not the only one!!! Anyway, great song! | |
