| what a dumbass. The word punk (as lars said) comes from jail and it means someone who sucks dicks for cigarettes. | |

| i like this song...it's written by someone who has a lot, they make lots of money with their work and this song is about the people who have nothing, and that's really cool, it's not something you'd expect from a "punk" band...and it's nice to hear an occasional song that ISN'T about unrequited love or boys or girls or love. yay for this song! | |

| This song to me is simply about not taking anything for granted. | |

| This is one of my favorite Rancid songs. I really like Rancid because they write a lot about their lives and street life rather than the common love songs. | |

| This song is fantastic. Its about waking up and actually deciding to give a shit about other people. Helping out folks with their problems, you know? Also, toward the end Tim counts his blessings, realizes he's much luckier than most. 'I always end up back on the hill, looking down on the landfill' To most people, lokking down on a landfill would make them want to leave or plug their nose, but Tim doesn't mind. He appreciates what he has, and thats one of the reasons rancid is among the best bands around. | |
