Anyone else dig any significance from John playing a tit bit of Slash's guitar part from Guns N' Roses version of "Sweet Child Of mine"?

this was when the chili's were funk rock not the new shitty new wave MTV sell out band that they are now. Its funny that they are here singing about that they don't want the MTV life of fame and yet now they have turned into what they aimed never to be... i read somewhere that flea said about "stadium arcadium" that if u don't like this album then you don't like the RHCP. What has happened to music? Are all bands just saying "fuck it dude, let's go bowling..." and just knocking out albums one after another that are not a patch on their older material??? Up until BSSM the chili's rocked now they just can't get it up.

this is a good fast song to follow up the slow and sweet Pretty Little Ditty on The Mother's Milk album. i liked it from the first time i heard it. i guess it's just a fun song that A.K. wrote one day to express how he felt at that time. Since RHCP weren't getting much publicity outside of L.A. at that time, i guess the way to get some exposure was to get put on MTV, i guess now 20+ years later MTV is begging RHCP to let them play their videos!!! take that MTV!!! And I love that the RHCP are very diverse and dont stick to the same shit everytime they make a new record, they always create new and creative songs, but since they've matured, so has their sound, and there is nothing wrong with that. I love you Anthony Kiedis, keep making your Peppers Magik!!!!!
