	This is a great song as is Mother's Milk as a whole. I just bought it today, which completes my collection of their Frusciante-era stuff. I'm not a big fan of their really early stuff but I suprisingly enjoyed it. "Knock Me Down" obviously seems to be about not living a life of total excess and crazy indulgence. It was precisely the cause of Hillel's demise.

	i am a very passionate rhcp fan, and i think that the lyrics of this song are fabulous but i have to say that this melody is such a turn off, it sounds like a bullshit pump up TV commercial song. i know people will virtually throw shit at me for saying this but.....
