	Hey, Woody87, what I can say, as a Greek is the lotus is a fruit. In ancient mythology, this fruit used to grow in one specific place.If anyone went there and ate lotus, he would forget his family and friends and stay there forever.I don't know how this could be related to the song, however. (Maybe they want to forget something?)

	Also, I just wanted to say that this is easily one of the Chilis most complicatied songs on this CD, simply because of Midnight's ending; the way which they tie in the instrumental at the beginning to the last parts of the song, as Anthony sings Midnight's haunting chorus 3 extra times is absolutely amazing; gives me an orgasm everytime

	This song is just awesome. I LOVE the part when he says "into the rolling tide, over the ocean so wide", it's so beautiful. And I really do think it's about drugs because the lotus is being compared to drugs today. I love this song.
