Tuning: Standard tuning
I'm pretty sure this is the right way to play it after living on
this song for a while...
Intro:
G|--------------------5----------------------------------------------|
D|-----------5------7---0-3-5-7-------5-7p5--------------------------|
A|---------7---5------------------5p7-------7------------------------|
E|---5---------------------------------------------------------------|
Main Verse:
X3
G|--------------------------5-----------------------------------------|
D|--------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-7-7-----5-7-5-------------|
A|------------7---5-5-5h5-----------------------5h7-------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5----------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------5-----------------------------------------|
D|--------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-----------|
A|------------7---5-5-5h5---------------------------------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5----------------------------------------------------------|
Chorus:
X2
G|-----9---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------10-------10---------5--------3--------------------------------|
A|----------10-10----10----5--------3----------------------------------|
E|---8-------------------3-----3--1-----1------------------------------|
G|-----9---------------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------10-------10-------5------3------------------------------------|
A|----------10-10----10------5------3---3------------------------------|
E|---8-------------------3-----3------1--------------------------------|
G|-------------4------------------------4-5-4--------------------------|
D|-------7---5---5----------3-----------------5----------3-------------|
A|-----7-----------5------3---3----7-7----------5------3---------------|
E|---5---------------3--1--------5----------------3--1-----1-----------|
Play this bit on the 1st solo
G|-------------------------5-------------------------------------------|
D|-------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-7-7-/14-14------------------|
A|-----------7---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------------------|
That's pretty much the whole structure of the song.
It also wouldn't hurt to put some of your own variations in:
G|-------------------------5-------------------------------------------|
D|-------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-/8-9-10-11-10-9-8-----------|
A|-----------7---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------5-----------------------7-9p7---------------|
D|-------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-7-7-7p9-------9-------------|
A|-----------7---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------5---------------/15p13----15p13----15p13----|
D|-------------5---------7---0-3-3-3h3-5-7-------14-------14--------14\|
A|-----------7---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------|
E|---5-5-5h5-----------------------------------------------------------|
Enjoy!

| i believe this song is about getting carried away with things we believe in and that doesnt always mean the good things cause its also talking about war and how bad it is and the band really express this. Im listening to it right now and Anthonys voice sounds so bloody awesome. | |
