| It's about how people in higher places (in this case Yertle the Turtle) use those subordinate to them (Mac and his friends) to get to higher places and get more things. I think Antony Keidis sees himself as Mac who was the only turtle who spoke out saying that the way the king is using him hurts them. Suprisingly political for a song based on a children's story. | |

| Genius making a song off a Dr. Suess story. Actually Yertle the Turtle was about Hitler. Yertle being Hitler. Some don't agree, but the turtle even has an identicle mustache! It does make sense once you put two and two together. | |
