| I liked the comment about the individual lines not making sense, but the whole song being crystal clear... The whole is greater than the sum of the parts, etc. To me this song is just about diffrent people being in diffrent places, trying to rise above stuff that you feel should be below you. I do have to say though..."you can die but you're never dead, spiderweb" ??? | |

| parallel universe to me is the red hot chili peppers at their best. it is such a powerful song, and the guitar/drum solo thingy at the end, is one of the best pieces of music i have ever heard........try listening to it stoned sometime....its pretty sweet | |
