Song: Failure to Excommunicate
Artist: Relient K
Album: Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek
Transcribed By: AlanTheWise
Standard Tuning! Yay! This goes kinda fast, so you'll need to listen to the song
to get the rhythm and all. It sounds best played with a pick, like most punk rock does.
This is probably the hardest Relient K song so if you're a beginner bassist don't feel
too bad if you don't get it right away. Other than that, enjoy the tab and have a pleasant
day :-)
Did that sound snotty? I really tried hard not to be this time.

Please realize that if you request a song for me to tab out that the odds of
me tabbing it are not so high, consittering it takes a good deal of time.
But feel free to ask anyway! I'll still try my best.

| I think actually think that it is about him in High school (that is what he said in baltimore)being the only punk rock kid and everybody jugded him by the way he acted and looked and they never gave him a chance. | |

| Hey guys! I think what he's saying is that it really sucks when people judge you without knowing you but Jesus looks at your heart so "as long as there's a heaven there'll be a failure to excommunicate" meaning no matter what other people say, if you're for Jesus then no one can touch you or throw you out. Cause we win in the end anyways! Isn't God awesome!?!? | |

| I think this song is about racism and therefore, "their gavel's gone down before they looked in your heart" means other people judging you from the outside and not even trying to understand you inside. It also talks about how Jesus loves everyone, no matter how despised at they are, He doesn't care whether you're an outcast, He still loves you. THIS SONG ROCKS! | |

| The only being that could Excommunicate is God....the church of course has in the past..but that was in a darker time of the church...and when it was run by the rich and powerful more...this song though as far as i can tell is not dealing with and Excommunication of the church but more of society....cause they talk a lot about racism and judging....reliant k are rockin | |

| I think that when they say "failure to excommunicate" it means that as long as God is in heaven(**forever**)there will be a failure to excommunicate ie: kick out/deny entrance into the Kingdon of God...I just love this song...Peace~Love~Ryan. | |
